Hi everyone, 
 
​We had a fantastic time performing A Spectacle of Herself in the last week of June at Fusion Festival in Lärz, Germany. 
 
It is one of our favourite festivals with the best audiences and brilliant crew, who worked incredibly hard to make it all happen safely despite the extreme heat. 

There were also some brilliant shows from @less.kuerdas, My Laika! and @compaganie_ar which we loved seeing!
 
Unfortunately we had to cancel our last performances due to unsafe temperatures in the tent. We found the new equity guidelines for temperature really helpful in making this decision. Having a maximum stage temperature of 30 degrees took the pressure off Laura as the performer to make the call on the day. Highly recommend adding a thermometer to your kit list!

“Extreme heat is a serious health and safety issue. Equity urges members to take action to protect against working in unsafe, unreasonably hot temperatures, collectively, individually and jointly with engagers. We believe that 27 degrees (°C) should be the cut-off for strenuous work ... Alongside the TUC, we are calling for 30 degrees to be the absolute limit for work.”

If you missed us at Fusion, those of you in the UK will still be able to see ASOH at Circomedia in (a much cooler!) October this year.
